Emma Willis in between two members of staff on a hospital wardWest Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is thrilled to announce it is collaborating with Emma Willis and Firecracker Films for the fourth instalment of the award-winning documentary UKTV Original series ‘Emma Willis: Delivering Babies’.

Emma Willis will immerse herself as a maternity support worker at Watford General Hospital in this six-part observational series which begins filming at the end of January for four months.

Filming will primarily take place at Watford General Hospital, and Firecracker Films also hopes to feature services out in the community. The series will premiere on W and UKTV Play later this year.

WHTH chief nurse Kelly McGovern said: "We are honoured to have Emma Willis join us to highlight the exceptional dedication of maternity staff across the trust and the compassionate care they provide to parents and newborns. We look forward to sharing our unique story with a wider audience, showcasing the remarkable moments that unfold within the heart of our maternity ward and the care we provide in the community."

The previous three series have been filmed at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. Sam Emmery, creative director at Firecracker Films, said: "For this fourth outing, we are very much looking forward to seeing Emma in new surroundings and are grateful to Watford General Hospital for granting us privileged access to their maternity ward. We would like to thank The Princess Alexandra Hospital for three brilliant series and supporting Emma through her training."
