- Enhancing wellbeing resources and support for staff experiencing racism in the workplace.
Having fair and equitable systems and processes
- Ensuring that decision-making processes in recruitment, progression, training and employee relations are non-discriminatory.
- Proactively seeking out, assessing, and eliminating institutional practices that perpetuate discrimination.
- Mainstreaming inclusion and making it everyone’s business.
- Routinely auditing all employee relations cases to identify and address race disparity in outcomes of comparable case.
- Strengthening the structures and processes for undertaking and measuring Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) to ensure that trust decisions do not have a disproportionate impact on protected groups.
- Publishing the results of and acting on outcomes from our annual ethnicity pay gap.
