Parking

Emergency vehicles and other patients need unrestricted access around our sites. Please park considerately and do not park on any red or yellow lines, hatched areas or obstructing zebra crossings.

Patient drop-off and pick-up

There is a drop off area located outside the main Gloucester building entrance. There's also a drop off area outside of the Runcie building.

Parking office

The parking office is in the blue hut located along the main road to the front of the main entrance.

Bus

There is a bus stop directly opposite the main entrance. You can use the following bus services to get to St Albans City Hospital:
302 and 653 Tigermoth.

St Albans City train station and St Albans Abbey train station are a similar distance from the hospital. From both, it’s about a 30 minute walk, or 10-15 minutes by bus or taxi.

The All Good Coffee Co cafe is located near the main entrance. Open 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.

Vending machines offering a variety of food and drink can be found in the following locations:

• Main reception
• X-ray department corridor
• Pre Operative Assessment area
• Orthopaedics department
• Integrated Urgent Care Hub

There are two quiet rooms available on level 3 of Moynihan wing. Room number 3.78.
