Parking
Emergency vehicles and other patients need unrestricted access around our sites. Please park considerately and do not park on any red or yellow lines, hatched areas or obstructing zebra crossings.
The main parking space for the hospital is the multi-storey car park, entrance from Thomas Sawyer Way. Take a ticket on entry and pay before leaving using the machines or Saba parking app.
Additional pay and display outdoor parking is available on the sloped area opposite the multi-storey car park, entrance also via Thomas Sawyer Way.
Patient drop-off and pick-up
There are drop-off and pick-up points outside the maternity unit, emergency department and adjacent to the main block. The entrance for all is from Vicarage Road.
The drop-off area outside the main building is for emergency/patient transport services only – please do not stop in this area. Use the area adjacent to the main building at the top of the hill as the road turns down the hill.
Disabled parking
Disabled parking bays are available across the site, entrance via Vicarage Road. There is a 4 hour maximum stay.
The multi-storey car park has disabled parking bays close to the lifts on all levels. Please be aware there is a slope up from the car park to the current hospital buildings.

Free and discounted parking is available for some patients and visitors. See our parking charges page for details.
