He is actively involved in research, with publications and conference presentations in areas such as lung cancer diagnostics, pleural diseases, and the application of artificial intelligence in respiratory care. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on AI-driven solutions for respiratory medicine.
A dedicated educator, Dr Navarra supervises respiratory registrars, Foundation and Internal Medicine trainees, and has developed training programs, such as mastering pleural procedures for internal medicine trainees.
