Biography
I Graduated from School of Medicine - University of Patras in Greece and I have an extensive experience spanning over 23 years in in General Ophthalmology working including primary care and urgent care experience with focus on paediatric ophthalmology, medical retina and glaucoma.
I had for few years after training in Englland my private practice in Greece. I operated a large volume of ophthalmic surgery including phacoemulsification, glaucoma, oculoplastics and refractive surgery. I also provided paediatric assessment performing retinoscopy and orthoptic examination. During the same period, I also held a post in Greek National Health System, mainly providing general ophthalmology
I moved to the UK in over 15 years ago, and currently I am a Locum consultant in West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
I have developed a strong interest in clinical research and I have presented posters in international congresses and published articles and case presentation in international ophthalmological magazines.
