Biography
Dr Foulkes qualified from Oxford University in 2006 with a first class degree and an intercalated DPhil on the neurophysiology of 3D vision. His postgraduate training in neurology was in Oxford, East Kent and London. He undertook a clinical research fellowship in cognitive neurology at the UCL Dementia Research Centre, working primarily with patients with young-onset Alzheimer's disease and on advanced structural imaging techniques.
As well as running general neurology clinics in West Hertfordshire, Dr Foulkes also runs a cognitive neurology clinic at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he is clinical lead for the cognitive neurology service and is also involved in clinical trials in Alzheimer’s disease.
