Biography
I am Consultant Dermatologist with a subspecialist interest in Paediatric Dermatology and have been a member of the team at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust since 2017.
I completed a degree in Natural Sciences (MA) at Cambridge University and subsequently graduated in Medicine with distinction from UCL (MBBS). I began my career at University College London Hospital, then moved to Oxford to complete academic foundation training at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Department of Physiology. I then completed Core Medical Training and subsequently higher Specialty Training in Dermatology in the Oxford Deanery, gaining MRCP and MRCP (Dermatology). During my time in Oxford, I spent two years researching immunological responses to cutaneous infection (the role of natural killer cells in control of varicella zoster virus infection) which resulted in a medical doctorate (MD) from Cambridge University.
I became a Consultant Dermatologist in 2017.
I am currently teaching lead within our department and educational supervisor for the GPVTS trainees.
