Biography
I qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1981 and trained in haematology at St Mary’s, Charing Cross and the Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals. I held a research post in Oxford from 1987-1991, looking at the molecular abnormalities associated with the Myelodysplastic Syndromes. I was a consultant haematologist at Ealing Hospital before coming to West Herts.
