Biography

Dr. Jason Palman graduated from the University College London (UCL) Medical School and underwent training in general paediatrics and neonatology in the East of England Deanery. He then pursued specialised training in paediatric rheumatology at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Dr. Palman commenced his role as a substantive consultant at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in January 2021, where he works in the Children's Emergency Department and conducts clinics in the Paediatric Outpatient Department, focusing on children with musculoskeletal and inflammatory conditions.

Additionally, Dr. Palman holds a Master of Research in Child Health and remains actively involved in local paediatric research. He serves as the Guardian of Safe Working at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, overseeing exception reports and chairing the Junior Doctors Forum while representing junior doctors and the Trust at executive meetings. Dr. Palman is also a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) Examination Board and National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society Advisory Board.
