Biography
I qualified as a Medical Doctor in Lagos, Nigeria in 1983. I started my professional career in General Medicine. I started my Anaesthetic career in the UK.
I completed my Anaesthesia training at the North West London School of Anaesthesia as it was known at the time. I was appointed as a Consultant Anaesthetist with Special interest in Intensive Care Medicine at West Hertfordshire Hospitals in 2001.
During my time in the Trust, I was the Trust Organ Donation Lead Consultant for several years. I was later appointed as the Trust Adult Safeguarding Lead Consultant. In this role, I work with a team of Specialist Nurses from the Trust as well as Hertfordshire Social Services to protect vulnerable patients, and facilitate their access to healthcare.
