Biography
Dr.Saravanan Rathinam completed an MBBS and a postgraduate degree in Anaesthesia at Madurai Medical College. Since 1998, they have been working independently as an anaesthetist. After visiting the UK to take the PLAB Part 2 exam, Dr. Saravanan Rathinam secured their first position as a Senior House Officer in Anaesthetics at Watford General Hospital. Following a comprehensive speciality training program during the Barts and London rotation, he became a Consultant Anaesthetist at Watford General Hospital in 2009.
Throughout their career, Dr. Saravanan Rathinam has taken on various roles within the department and in the surgical division, serving as a Governance Lead. Their areas of interest include Trauma and Orthopaedics, particularly shoulder and spine surgeries, as well as Obstetrics, ENT/Ophthalmology, General Surgery, and CEPOD.
