Biography

Dr Zhaleh Khaleeli qualified at UCLH in 1999 and undertook her Neurology training at the Royal Free Hospital and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. She completed a PhD at the Institute of Neurology in 2008, exploring MRI markers in Multiple Sclerosis. She has worked as a consultant in West Herts since 2015 seeing patients with general neurological problems ( eg. seizures, peripheral nerve disorders, headaches, MS, Parkinson's) and neuro-ophthalmic issues (IIH, optic neuritis, ocular myasthenia). She runs specialist clinics in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuro-ophthalmology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She is the training programme lead for internal medical training at UCLH, and teaches undergraduates, MSc students, junior doctors and visiting doctors.
