Biography
Dr Raja Gangopadhyay is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with a special interest in perinatal mental health. For specific psychiatric advice, please contact your psychiatrist or community perinatal team on 0300 1240939. Dr Gangopadhyay is not a perinatal psychiatrist or clinical psychologist and would be unable to provide advice on these matters. In the event of a mental health crisis, please contact your local crisis team or attend A&E without delay.
Dr Gangopadhyay is passionate about providing comprehensive obstetric care for women with Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) illnesses. He provides the care along with the Multidisciplinary PMH team of the Trust comprising of Consultant Obstetricians, Psychiatrists, Specialist Mental Health Midwife, and the Lavender Team (Vulnerable adult team of midwives). The Perinatal Psychiatric Care is provided by the Hertfordshire Community Perinatal Team (CPT).
He treats different non-cancerous gynaecological conditions through his gynaecology clinic.
