Biography

Ravi read medicine in London, and then completed basic surgical training in London. He also obtained a BSc (Hons) in Medical Law & Ethics from King’s College London. He subsequently commenced higher surgical training in Orthopaedics on the London rotation. Ravi undertook a Doctorate in Medical Research (MD Res) at Imperial College London from 2015. His thesis, entitled "Loosening of Joint Replacements", had a particular a focus on imaging modalities to investigate early loosening of total joint replacement implants.
Ravi is double Fellowship trained. He spent a year working on the Adult Joint Reconstruction Service, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, University of Sydney, Australia. This was followed with further fellowship training in Joint Reconstruction and Sports Surgery at Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals and Oxford University Hospitals, UK.
Ravi joined the Hip & Knee unit at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals in 2023.
