Biography

Mr Macmull trained at The Royal London and St. Batholomew's school of medicine and dentistry. He undertook his specialist orthopaedic training in London in the North West Thames London Deanery. He has had a broad exposure to foot and degenerative spinal pathologies and trauma. He undertook a specialist trauma fellowship at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney Australia followed by dedicated spinal surgery fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and Oxford University Hospital.

Mr. Macmull was appointed as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon to West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2019.

Mr. Macmull maintains an active involvement in teaching surgical trainees. He is a member of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons and keeps up to date by regularly attending conferences and educational courses. He has published his research in peer reviewed journals and has presented his work at a national and international level
