Our Gynaecology department is run by a team of committed and enthusiastic consultants, some of whom are leaders in their field and are active in publishing research material. A network of clinical nurse specialists, GP specialists and nurses support the consultants, along with dedicated administrative staff.
We have a dedicated gynaecology operating theatre that allows patients to be treated quickly and efficiently.
Patients who undergo elective or emergency inpatient surgery are treated on Elizabeth ward. This is located on level 1 of the Women’s and Children’s building at Watford General Hospital.
