Our nutrition and dietetic team ensures our patients are provided with suitable nourishment, appropriate for their condition, while they are with us. They offer practical dietary advice to patients and can advise about food related problems.

Our services are delivered on the wards but our office is located in Sycamore House at Watford General Hospital.

Our dietitians work with our catering department to plan healthy nutritious menus and train and advise our other healthcare staff on patients' dietary needs.
All dietitians employed by the Trust will have completed an approved recognised qualification in nutrition and dietetics and are registered to practise with Health Professions Council.
Our dietetic service is provided from 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
Our nutrition and dietetics team are accredited by the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
