The physiotherapy service is conducted on our wards, but the inpatient therapy office is located at Watford General Hospital. You can find us at the back of the H block, it's marked 'Walking aids drop off point' on the map.

Inpatient physiotherapy service
The team provide education and advice to patients about improving wellbeing and functionality, such as ways of doing activities to reduce risk of injury or pain. They can support mobility with targeted exercises to improve strength or activities that move the whole body, and mobility aids to help with getting around.
The inpatient physiotherapy service, serving ward-based patients at Watford General Hospital, is available from Monday to Friday from 8.15am-4.30pm. A reduced service is available on weekends and bank holidays. There is also on-call support for acutely unwell respiratory patients operating from 4.30pm-8.30am every day, including weekends and bank holidays.
